The Objective of the proposed project is to establish a Skill Development Centre(SDC) at IISc Challakere Campus (Chitradurga Dist, Karnataka state, India) as a CSR activity in accordance with the MOU.
To meet the society’s vital needs in two critical areas:
- To train Science and Mathematics Teachers from Government and Govt aided schools, Navodaya Schools & Pre-University Colleges nationwide to improve the standard of Science & Mathematics Education in the Schools & Colleges and
- Imparting Skills Training & Development in Niche Engineering Areas such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic sectors at multiple levels in line with the “Make in India” Mission.
